The clue is in its name… The Vario is an extremely versatile piece of kit offering flexibility of use to match its storage capacity. In the blink of an eye, like a very practical Transformer, it switches from a bike pannier to a fully featured, non-compromised backpack.
The tough waterproof construction of the Vario means it will last a long time even with repeated daily use. The roll top closure keeps the weather away from you things and there plenty of space for them too, with ample space for A4 files and a 15.4” notebook computer.
As a pannier it is easy to fit with the innovative one-handed QL2.1 fitment system which is compatible with all rear racks up to 16mm in diameter. As a backpack the Vario’s comfort is not compromised as the straps are neatly tucked away in a separate compartment on the front of the bag. This means that when you use it as a backpack all the pannier fitting are on the other side making sure the bag fits great.
Additionally there are two neoprene pockets externally (these aren’t waterproof), a carry handle, reflectors for added visibility, helmet flap, removable waist strap and an internal pocket.
